Start a classification case
For imports into the United States, collect product facts, generate candidate HTS codes from the current official schedule, and record a working candidate for review.
Step 1
Product basics
Provide a clear, descriptive product name and the destination market. Country of origin and entry date help with trade measure checks.
What happens next?
- Collect structured product facts (material, use, dimensions, etc.)
- Generate HTS candidate codes using official tariff data
- Review 2–5 ranked candidates with explanations and missing facts
- Select a working candidate, run a risk review, and save the preparation record
- Export a CSV or JSON record for your internal review
Creating a Case and recording facts are included with a paid workspace. Generate one candidate set when the facts are ready: it uses 1 credit once per Case. Risk review and export are included with that Case. Candidate descriptions come from the current USITC HTS; verify the final filing position with the applicable authority or a licensed customs broker.
